Gerbils are illegal in California. This is because the lunatic politicians in California are concerned that if Gerbils get loose and reproduce in the wild, they may become a "nuisance" and "burden" on society.
I guess illegal immigrants are not a "burden" on or a "nuisance" to society. Even though they use huge amounts tax funded resources but usually pay no taxes, I guess they are not a "nuisance" or "burden" on the public. Perhaps California should outlaw illegal immigrants and allow Gerbils?
