Mexican Unabrow

I had lunch this afternoon at the Red Iguana Restaurant on North Temple in Downtown SLC. I took this photograph in the back of the restaurant. Notice the Unabrow. I have absolutely no idea why anyone would think that this is a beautiful woman. I am not sure why the artist chose to use monkeys in the painting either. Are the monkeys any less hairy than the woman's face?

The woman is Frida Kahlo--she is a famous artist. This is a self portrait (she was actually quite a bit prettier than she portrayed herself in my humble opinion). As far as the monkeys are concerned--you got me there. I have no idea.
